In June 2023, Akshay announced the 5th instalment of his hit comedy franchise Housefull. The film is crafted by Tarun Mansukhani and is scheduled to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2024.
Housefull 5 - bagged a feather as the first-ever series film in Indian Cinema to have five instalments.
The first Housefull in the year 2010
The film was proved to be a hit casting was - Akshay, Riteish, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani.
Housefull 2 in the year 2012
and included a stellar cast of Akshay, Ritiesh, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Asin. Both were crafted by director Sajid Khan.
The 3rd part was led by director duo Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji.
Housefull 3 in the year 2016
Director Farhad Samji crafted the 4th part too... it was a reincarnation comedy film. The latest
Housefull 4, was released in the year 2020
